🚨🇺🇸DEAD OPENAI WHISTLEBLOWER’S PARENTS SUE SFPD FOR HIDDEN RECORDS
The parents of Suchir Balaji have filed a lawsuit against the City and County of San Francisco, demanding the release of records related to their son's suspicious death.
Suchir, a former OpenAI employee turned whistleblower, accused the company of copyright infringement in a New York Times exposé.
One week after his name appeared in court documents, he was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in his San Francisco apartment.
Despite ruling it a suicide, SFPD is refusing to release investigation records, citing an “ongoing investigation.”
A private forensic pathologist hired by the family found gunshot trajectory anomalies and unexplained injuries inconsistent with a straightforward suicide.
The family is now taking legal action to uncover the truth.
