It's so heartening to see Americans wanting to support an American company in Tesla.

I've been following the company for 13 years - and worked at it for over 4 - and I have never seen the show of support that I've just witnessed in the last 24 hours.

Tesla is one of America's crown jewels. They have the most American made cars. They are built here with American labor. A ton of the supply chain is localized.

Not only that, they are vertically integrated to high heaven, which means that as they grow, they build the entire system around American factories right here in America.

In addition, EVs, solar, and batteries are one of the best ways for the US to accelerate its energy independence and strengthen national security.

An EV can draw from a grid that can be made up of whatever fuel sources, whereas gas cars can only run on petroleum - which could be sourced from countries that may not have our best interest in mind. See EU and Russia during the Ukraine war.

It will become obvious to those that get their cars that EVs - especially Teslas - are BY FAR the best bang for your buck cars. Super safe, fast as hell, comfortable, super high tech, can drive themselves, amazing sound system, dog mode, roomy, etc.

On top of that, Tesla is the leader in real-world AI, which will pave the way for self-driving cars everywhere and humanoid robots transforming our society in ways that are impossible to understand - built right here in America.

It makes me extremely happy that millions of people are about to gain exposure to one of the coolest companies of all time.

I would've never in a million years guessed it would be Trump that gave Elon, Tesla, and the entire Tesla team their due - but I'm so freaking happy he did.
