Update:
My brother had a monitored video call with my brother. Almost 8 years no single in person visit. I asked my mom if she cried? Bc it’s not helpful for his mental health seeing mom devastated. She just learned that the police deduct points if the prisoner or families cry

It’s my birthday. I used to love it. I stopped celebrating it for years bc my brother could not celebrate in China’s concentration camps. Sometimes friends insist that we must celebrate for me, him and family. This year was particularly hard as we marked Ekpar’s 8th anniversary.
