I held a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council.

It concerned the military medical commissions. The results of the inspection of the entire MMC system across the country. The reports on the violations found. The steps to prevent any corruption in the MMC field.

Law enforcement agencies – the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Bureau of Investigation, the military, representatives of the medical sector, the Ombudsman and the Prosecutor General\'s Office – reported.

The decisions are as follows.

To conduct a comprehensive review of the validity of those decisions of the military medical commissions on disability and unfitness for military service that have been made since February 24, 2022, and may be related to corruption violations. All cases where the decisions are clearly unfounded and illegal should be investigated by law enforcers.

Based on the results of the inspection, conclusions will be drawn regarding those who have traveled abroad on the basis of falsified decisions of the MMCs since the beginning of the full-scale aggression.

To intensify the expansion of opportunities to undergo MMC examinations in the system of civilian medical institutions. At the NSDC meeting, the relevant statistics on the work of the regions in this area was presented. Some regions have achieved one hundred percent success in expanding the system of MMC examinations to civilian medical institutions, while in some regions such expansion is being hampered. All regions of Ukraine should ensure the full expansion of the work of the MMCs to civilian medical institutions. The military command should fully cooperate with civilian medics to resolve this issue.

To complete the process of full digitalization of the entire work of the MMC. The state must put an end to any queues in which people are forced to wait for access to the MMC or for the MMC\'s conclusions.

To review the system of determining fitness for military service in order to give commanders more opportunities to involve servicemen in performing tasks and to prevent manipulations with the concept of \"limited fitness\".

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has been instructed to ensure the proper level of efficiency of the MMCs, the barrier-free access to all components of its work and the involvement of professional staff.

Law enforcement officers will continue to check the MMC system and purge it of those who use their position against the security and defense capability of our state.
