The left have destroyed all prospects for Democrats in November. Here’s why:
Yesterday, after the apparent assassination attempt on a presidential candidate, the majority of rational people on both sides of the aisle condemned political violence.
However, the fringe left (now occupying the main left after pushing many of us out), responded predictably:
“So? What did they expect? It was staged anyway!”
This laissez-faire attitude to a watershed moment of political violence is a deja-vu of the same fringe-turned-mainstream left’s response to Oct. 7: turning a blind eye to terrorism, minimizing it, denying it, justifying it, & in some instances, supporting it.
We watched, from its embryonic October stage, the 9-month birth of idiocracy.
We watched leftists use atrocious, misinformed statements in support of Jihadism, such as, “resistance is justified when people are occupied!” Knowing that terrorism is not “resistance,” that multiple two-state offers which included the total withdrawal of Israeli military presence were rejected, & this was nothing but an ultranationalist attempt by jihadists to take over a sovereign state & convert it to oppressive sharia law, mimicking its parent company, the Islamic Republic.
This was just the tip of the iceberg of months of revisionist history, narrative distortion, & fact-erasure to come.
We watched leftists deny sexual violence & describe Jihadist’s goals as, “to recreate a state just like the U.S.”
We watched leftists bastardize history by calling Jews “white colonizers” who had colonized indigenous land. Then, when they learned that Jews were indigenous & that Muslim conquests of the 7th century brought in the Arab population—concomitant with 400 years of settlements, relegating indigenous populations to dhimmitude, and building Mosques over indigenous peoples’ Temples—they then unethically argued, “we should change the meaning of the word indigenous.”
No, really. They tried to change language because it frustrated their narrative instead of just accepting facts and arguing for the rights of both peoples.
We watched the constant use of the word “genocide” without once mentioning Hamas’s admitted strategy of hiding itself among civilians to increase civilian casualties as a huge contributing factor to the death toll. We then heard “genocide by starvation” without once mentioning that Hamas was stealing aid and shooting anyone who sought it.
We watched leftists frame terrorists—the threat to every single
modicum of life and liberty—as the “good guys” who were just “responding to oppression,” rather than the the footmen of a cult of billionaire Jihadists that had stolen money allocated to Gazans (as well as Iranian people’s money) to turn Gaza into an underground network of terror tunnels for their self-serving Jihadist aspirations, that would one day ensure the total devastation of infrastructure if ever, say, hostages were kidnapped, hidden in them, and had to be retrieved.
We watched “inclusivity” morph into “inclusive terrorism,” failing to understand that including terrorism excludes all of us.
We watched the blatant denial of virulent & sweeping antisemitism from those who once claimed to be bastions of inclusivity, anti-racism, and anti-hate. We even heard, “well, what did you expect?”
We watched Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, and Islamic Republic supporters cheering jihadist slogans on campuses and then when we, Middle Easterners who had lived under these regimes condemned it, we were gaslit and accused of “demonizing peaceful protests” by the same people who once told us “don’t speak over native voices!”
We saw “globalize the intifada” graffitied on walls where leftists only saw student arrests for civil disobedience and considered THAT the threat, even though arrest is, and always has been, the natural consequence of civil disobedience.
