付鹏在汇丰银行对富人的一番演讲很多人转发很多人议论，他用相对通俗易懂的语言而不是用经济学术语说了一些残酷的事实真相，获得大家的认同。但他说的都是常识，就像生活很艰难，大家要努力赚钱，但究竟怎么赚钱，付鹏也没有说。由于经济学家这几年必须唱响中国经济光明论，付鹏也极力避免谈及政治，他只是东北证券经济学家，不是华尔街的大牛，所以必须小心翼翼。

付鹏对富人的演讲让许多中产阶层和低收入阶层表现出强烈关注实在让人有点吃惊，吃惊的是还有那么多人强烈渴望在中国这个计划经济的大染缸里淘金，真是活见鬼了，如果不是因为怀旧的话，我倒是希望有钱人还是快点远离这个市场。
